Tulip Lace Top
Oh summer….it’s that time again isn’t it for knitting. What do I knit? You want something light, airy and of course summery, with some style naturally.
Well lace was a key trend this year so that seems like a great place to start for this fab little top. The cotton has a great draping property to it and best of all it’s cotton, so I think we’ve covered all your needs for summer in one simple garment…..
Oh but best of all, this top only needs 3-4 balls of yarn which is even better value and if that wasn’t enough, the combination of flat and circular knitting means that the only seaming you have to d is two tiny shoulder straps. Now I’m not sure you’ll find anything better.
This simple but effective design works really well with any colour so you can suit it to your style and wardrobe.
Knitted on 4mm needles. Construction is really easy with our graphical pattern and step by step instructions. There are a few stitches, but these are very common and easy to find if you need additional help. This pattern will suit beginners with some basic stitch knowledge upwards.
This pattern can be knitted partially on straight needles, mixed with circular, or completely on circular needles.
The pack contains, notes on the pattern itself, inspirational catwalk photos, a graphical stitch by stitch pattern for you to follow including sizing instructions and construction notes.
Sizes from 8-16UK are shown in the graphical pattern and descriptions on how to amend the lace. For Sizes 18UK and upwards, the placement of extra sts is explained.
