Tulip saddlebag - handlebar or armrest bag
This is a free crochet pattern for a tulip flower saddlebag, that will fit across handlebars, armrests, or anything else with a horizontal bar really! It secures around a bar using toggles and has a toggle on the front and a back loop to close.
US terminology.
The bag is worked flat, as two pieces, which are sewn together. The straps are worked separately and sewn on.
Items required:
4.5mm crochet hook
White yarn: Marriner Double Knit – shade 40 White
Green yarn: Marriner Double Knit – shade 162 Cordial
Red yarn: Wilko Chainette – shade red. This can be changed for another colour, but should contrast with the green and white.
3x 30mm wooden toggles
