The Tulip Sweater Tee ~Adult~ PATTERN

This sweater tee was designed for the spring and fall months when the temperatures are still a bit cooler and you want some warmth in a top but want that short sleeve look. For that I used a 100% Alpaca yarn. If you wanted to make this your go to summer tee, simply swap out the alpaca for a cotton or linen blend.

This tee is a seamless design worked from the top down. It is first worked back and forth for the neck shaping and then joined together to work in the round. It is divided at the underarms where the body and sleeves are worked separately in the round. The collar is worked by picking up stitches and joined to work in the round. After the sweater has been blocked, the little flowers are hand embroidered on using DMC embroidery floss. No embroidery experience is needed as I included step by step photos on how to embroider the flowers on.
This tee has a classic fit with approximately 2-4 inches of positive ease.

Some techniques to know: knit, purl, increase, decrease, pick up and knit etc

Pattern includes 8 sizes: XS, S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL, 4XL please note 4XL has not been tested.

Yarn: Category 4 Worsted- We Are Knitters The Baby Wool or any yarn equivalent
Needles: US 8, 5mm 24” circular knitting needles
Optional: US 8, 5mm DPN’s
