But in the meantime, how about one of these very spring-like Tulip Tea Cosies…

Tulips are such a classical and recognisable flower I couldn’t resist making a cosy featuring them. These grow beneath a cheery, pom pom sun and allowed me to indulge my passion for lime green and knit a 2 x 2 rib of grass. The cosy, grass aside, is knitted from small oddments, here in Patons Fab DK, but other Double Knitting yarns can be used if tension is checked. The pattern knits up quickly from simple instructions and is a fun make.

The cosies make excellent gifts and can be partnered with a matching coaster from my I-cord pattern sold separately. Look out also for my set of 4 cosy patterns at a bargain price.
