This design is my entry for Francrochet’s 6th Guerre des maille (War of stitches). The theme is: Flower Power!

Tulips is a very simple and elegant bolero that looks fantastic over a contrasting colour. The pretty stitch - that reminds me of abstract tulips! - is also super fun to crochet. The pattern is written for a one size bolero, but I included all the instructions to adapt this design to any size you want. So don’t hesitate to make one in kid size, in Plus size, or in any other sizes in between!!

This pattern is using US terms.

What does this pattern contain:

• The written instructions for an adult size bolero (one size)
• The instructions to adapt this pattern to any other sizes (recipe)
• A symbol chart for the repeated motif
• A photo tutorial

What are the sizes included:

• This pattern is one size. Width: 43 inches (109 cm), Height: 19 inches (48 cm)
• Instructions (recipe) included to adapt this design to any other sizes

What is the difficulty level of this pattern:

• Beginner/Intermediate. Pretty easy to make, as long as you are comfortable with the basic stitches!

For this pattern, you will need to know:

• how to chain
• how to slip stitch
• how to make a single crochet
• how to make a double crochet
• how to make a triple crochet
• how to sew using the whip stitch (very little sewing to do)
• how to work in rows
• how to work in spiral

Le Boléro Tulips

Présentation:

Ce modèle est ma participation à la 6ième Guerre des mailles de Francrochet. Le thème: Le Pouvoir des Fleurs.

Tulips est un boléro très simple et élégant. Il est fantastique par dessus une couleur contrastante. Le superbe point - qui me rappelle des tulipes abstraites! - est hyper amusant à crocheter. Le patron est écrit pour un boléro de taille unique, mais j’ai aussi inclus les instructions pour adapter ce design à n’importe quelle taille que vous désirez. Alors n’hésitez pas à en faire en taille pour enfant, en taille Plus, ou n’importe quelle taille entre les deux!

Que contient ce patron:

• Les instructions écrites pour faire un boléro de taille adulte (taille unique)
• Les instructions pour adapter ce design à d’autres tailles (recette)

• comment faire une maille en l’air
• comment faire une maille coulée
• comment faire une maille serrée
• comment faire une bride
• comment faire une double-bride
• comment coudre en utilisant le point de surjet (il y a très peu de couture à faire)
• comment travailler en rangs
• comment travailler en spirale
