Tulips from Amsterdam
This pattern is made with the interwoven crochet or locking crochet technique. You can use this pattern to make a cover for a pillow or cushion or you can use the panels to make a bag. A pattern to make the handle is included as well.
How to do this technique is available in tutorials on my website, accompanied by lots of pictures and video’s. There is also a special video on how to make the handle.
This pattern was first published as bonusweek pattern of the Hooked and Locked CAL. The pattern of the blanket is also available in my Ravelry shop.
YARN USAGE
Panels: I used 66 grams of color 1 and 59 grams of color 2 per panel. This is without the single crochet border. You have to add about 5 grams for the single crochet border per panel (in color 1).
Bag handle: it depends on how long you want your handle to be. I made mine about 2.60 meters long and used 55 grams of color 1 and 40 grams of color 2 without the single crochet border. Add 20 grams for the single crochet border (in color 1).
If you make this like I did you need 220 grams in total of color 1 and 160 grams of color 2.
