This pattern makes me think of fields of tulips with row upon row of brilliant flowers so I named it after the area in the Netherlands famous for their tulip fields, Lisse. Hopefully, one day I will get to see them in real life.

The shawl is triangular and is knit from the top down with increases on every right-side row, worked at the edges and on each side of the center stitch.

I used a lace weight yarn I had spun from a blend of 50% merino, 25% bombyx silk, and 25% camel. The fiber was dyed as a gradient but I think the pattern would be lovely with a solid.

Warning - the pattern has not been test knitted by anyone other than myself so there may be errors. Please let me know if you find any and I will post a corrected version. Thanks.

Update 06-28-2024 Version 2:
Fixed the missing part of chart 4, now charts 4a and 4b. Also fixed the double decreases at column 44 in chart 4a and column 16 in chart 4b to single decreases.
