Tullameen
It’s a curious magic when things quietly change, like flowers transforming into plump summer berries or the seemingly sudden shift of summer into early fall. That mysterious transition practically compels us to join in …. with another Mystery Knit-Along (KAL)!
KEY DATES
The Tullameen MKAL ran from August 28-Sept 25, 2018.
The final, full pattern released October 9.
SKILL LEVEL
Intermediate - knitters need to know how to work yarn overs, decreases, lace, working in the round and flat, and measuring gauge. The pattern features a couple of different stitch patterns, including lace.
YARN
3 skeins SweetGeorgia Yarns Tough Love Sock, 1 each in Ultraviolet (MC), Lollipop (CC1), and Rainbow Sprinkles (CC2) (425 yd / 389 m total; 80% Superwash Merino, 20% Nylon).
There is a bit of wiggle room left, but the pattern uses up nearly all of the yarn, totaling 1275 yards. Changes in gauge will change the amount of yarn used, so remember this in your planning and work a gauge swatch. See page 2 for colour ideas.
The website link above will take you to some ready-to-ship yarn sets (sold separately), as another option.
NEEDLES & NOTIONS
Size 5 US / 3.75 mm set of 4 or 5 double pointed needles
Two sets of Size 5 US / 3.75 mm circular needles, 24” (60 cm) long (for working two halves of each clue at a time)
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

19 sts and 40 rows = 4” / 10 cm in Garter stitch, blocked and relaxed
Note that gauge is not crucial, but will affect required yardage and finished size.
