Tumbledown Mountain
Tumbledown Mountain is a sweet shawlette named for Tumbledown Mountain in central Maine with its gentle peaks easing into a high mountain pond of the same name. It’s likely to be my new favorite hiking spot this summer!
The shawl is a peaked crescent shape with a simple lace pattern created by a combination of stockinette, garter stitch and eyelet sections.
The instructions are simple and would be a great pattern for a beginning lace knitter who would like to try creating a crescent shaped shawl.
For the Summer 2019 I am pleased to be offering the pattern through the Heavenly Yarns Fiber of Maine yarn subscription! This is my Local Yarn Store. They truly support local yarn manufacturers and have an amazing selection of Maine Made Yarns available in store and online. I am honored to have this pattern available through them.
