Inspiration:
I have been holding on to my Japanese stitch bible for quite some time. I must admit, the symbols in it are intimidating and a bit discouraging at times. I decided to plunge in…The book encouraged me to play with knitting through the back loop, eyelets and this fantastic yoke emerged. Featuring stranded knitting as well, as I can’t live without colour.
My go-to fiber is always Malabrigo. The colours complement my “Tundra” beautifully. I hope it inspires you to venture into their fabulous range of colours. Rios or Arroyo is a perfect aran/sport “work horse” and being the pattern has lace eyelets, it won’t be too heavy or warm. Easy, quick to knit up on larger needles. It won’t bore, I assure.
Sizes:
Smallest size provided outside bracket, subsequent sizes inside the bracket in consecutive order. If one number is provided, it applies to all sizes. For ease of tracking, I recommend highlighting your size.

Yarn: Malabrigo Rios is “Soft, strong, and washable. This 4-ply yarn is our workhorse! The plies help resist pilling and washability makes it fantastic for frequently worn garments, housewares, as well as children and baby clothes. And like all our yarns, it’s super soft and great for next-to-the-skin wear! Spun from our premium super wash merino, it comes in an array of watercolor-multi, semi-solid, and variegated colorways.“
