Tundra
Tundra ~ is a winter inspired capelet complete with back-buttoned closure for easy dressing, that features a textured and cable stitch pattern on the main body with a seeded ribbed stitch worked along the edge and a ribbed stitch turtle neck for extra warmth.
This versatile trendy capelet is a great addition to your doll’s winter wardrobe and sure to become her favorite winter wear.
For a finishing touch, add your favorite hat and mitts.
(Please note the hat and mitts shown on my Gotz model are not included). I made use of my Eyelet Beret pattern, omitting the eyelet row and working the brim in faux fur.
Pattern Note:
Easy to follow line by line written instructions, worked in one piece, including button bands and turtle neck.
Designer’s Note:
Worked flat ~ my preferred knitting technique using my bamboo straights
Designed to fit:
American Girl Dolls
& 18” Gotz Dolls like Jessica that shares the same body type also fits Slim Gotz Dolls
Construction: Worked from the bottom up in one piece, including button bands and turtle neck.
Skill Level:
Advance Beginner-Easy: Project using basic stitches, repetitive stitch patterns, simple color changes, and simple shaping and finishing.
