I used the following colors, but you can of course use whichever colors you fancy.

This is great for using up ends, as you will not need more than one skein of each color

0128 Fuchsia
0106 White
0110 Black
0201 Royal
0247 Sky
0256 Raspberry
0208 Canary
0226 Lavender
0253 Jade

For the back of the pillow you can either sew it to a piece of fabric, do a solid tunesian crochet or do a second owl in different colors.
