Explore some simple Tunisian stitches to create a beautiful, functional baby blanket. I wanted to design something that was relatively straight forward, so that I could enjoy the rhythm of the stitches without constantly referring to the pattern. I used a pure cotton double knit weight yarn from my stash, but this would be beautiful in any yarn, and could be worked much larger if you wished. The size can be easily changed - make more repeats to create a longer blanket, or add more stitches in the Honeycomb stitch section to make the blanket wider. The pattern for the edging will work however many stitches you have. The pattern uses a 6.5mm Tunisian hook and a 5mm conventional crochet hook for the edging.
