Tunisian Crow Foot Stitch
The Tunisian Crow Foot stitch is a unique yet simple combination of common Tunisian crochet stitches. This pattern also leverages some traditional crochet stitches as well.
When I first came up with this designed stitch, I thought that certainly some else has done this! I scoured all the Tunisian crochet books I could find, old and new. I also spent hours searching online archives. I could not find it anywhere! That’s not to say, it hasn’t been done ever before, however I do believe these is the first documented instructions dedicated to this design.
I thought it looked like little bird feet, so naturally I named it Crow Foot. Everyone who has used it so far has found they love how simple it is to make and how textured it looks in the end.
If you enjoy this look, please also consider some of my other patterns that also use the Tunisian Crow Foot Stitch.
