Tunisian Delaney Wrap
Explore some simple stitches to create a beautiful, functional wrap. Worked in Tunisian crochet, the wrap has both weight and texture. I wanted to design something that used my favourite Lattice stitch, but that also had additional interest in the way the colours are used. The wrap is worked in one piece, sometimes changing colour mid-row, sometimes alternating colours each row. I used a Scheepjes Whirl in Golden Glowworm with Whirlettes in Citrus and Acai Berry. The size can be easily changed - make more repeats, or add additional rows (but you would need more yarn).
Tunisian Delaney Wrap - Materials
Yarn A: 1 x 215g-225g/1000m Scheepjes Whirl in Golden Glowworm (60% cotton, 40% acrylic)
Yarn B: 1 x 100g/455m Scheepjes Whirlette in Acai Berry (60% cotton, 40% acrylic)
Yarn C: 1 x 100g/455m Scheepjes Whirlette in Citrus (60% cotton, 40% acrylic)
Hook: 6mm Tunisian crochet hook with extension cord, and a 4mm standard crochet hook for the edging.
You may find stitch markers helpful.
A pompom maker if you wish to make some for the corners, once the wrap is finished.
