Frilly flower is worked sideways and has a tapered strip at the base and is embellished at the top edge with novelty yarn or additional stitches.

Use a hook size appropriate for the yarn weight. Finer yarns will make more delicate flowers. Add a brooch pin or sew this flower onto a hat as embellishment.
