This pattern combines regular crochet and Tunisian crochet for a gorgeous simple texture.
You will either do a chainless stitch at the beginning of the round of the starting stitch.
Let’s talk yarn and hooks!
You can use any weight you’d like. I used a worsted weight for this one. As far as hook size goes, for worsted I used a 6.00 mm for the HDC sections and a 6.50 mm for the Tunisian sections.
I also made one with a bulky yarn that called for a 6.50 mm hook. I used a 7.00 mm for the HDC sections and an 8.00 mm for the Tunisian sections.
You want to go up a hook size for the Tunisian parts to keep your stitches from getting too tight.
