Tunisian Honeymoon
My love of Tunisian crochet goes right back to my first design, My Tunisian Hottie! I really enjoy the technique – it’s like a hybrid of crochet, knitting and weaving.
This fun asymmetrical shawl uses three easy but striking stitches to create a shawl in three parts.
Tunisian Honeymoon is designed to make the most use of your yarn and allow you to keep working until almost all of your yarn is used up.
Each section uses approximately one third of the total yarn. Using a scale to weigh your yarn as you go will help ensure you can complete your shawl and using slightly less than one third for each section will leave just enough for a perfect finishing tassel or two.
The sample used approximately 150 g, 600 yds (549 m) in a colourway called The Beach.
The shawl can be made with any yarn and an appropriately sized hook.
The sample is 68 inches long along the top edge and 16 inches deep at the widest point (173 cm X 41 cm) after blocking.

I couldn’t have done it without you.
