This Tunisian crochet cat ear beanie, will be the easiest kitty hat you will ever make! works up in only a few hours.

For this pattern you must know to how to do Tunisian crochet in the round, Tunisian Simple stitch, and optionally the Tunisian Knit Stitch and Reverse Tunisian stitch but these are not required.

You will need a double ended, 6mm Tunisian Crochet hook, preferably one at least 5 inches long but whatever you have will work.

Tunisian crochet in the round requires two separate working yarns so I like to use contrasting colors for a fun colorful look but feel free to use the same colors for both the forward and return rows if you prefer. I don’t know the exact yardage I used, they were partial skeins and I had still some bits leftover.

This pattern gives you 3 options for starting your hat, you can pick whichever method you are most comfortable using, my preference is to knit the start of my hat.
