PATTERN NOTES
Ribbing stitches are held on a stitch holder or waste yarn until the body of the hat is complete.
Stitches for the body of the hat are picked up from the wrong
side of the ribbing.
The short ends of the ribbing are seamed with kitchener stitch.
The Hat is seamed on the inside with whipstitch.
Work the last stitch of a row by inserting hook under both vertical
strands.
At the end of the return pass, 1 loop remains on the hook and counts as the first loop of the next row.
Weave in loose ends as work progresses.
