LIZARD RIDGE (http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/lizard-ridge) by Laura Aylor is a popular knitting pattern that lends itself well to be worked in Tunisian Crochet stitches. These instructions are provided with the permission of the knitting designer.

The pattern is worked using short rows to create the effect of waves in the fabric. The pattern can be made in squares to be joined, or into a full width afghan. I made four long sections and joined them for size 80 x 72 inches.

Stitch count is 14 plus 1. Gauge will change depending on the yarn and hook size used.

Materials: 12 skeins James C Brett (bulky) with a minimum of two colours, up to six different shades of variegated yarn. For more yarn ideas, see the original knitting pattern.

Hook: For version 1 use a Tunisian hook. For a full width afghan use a cabled hook.
