This Tunisian Market Bag is a great way to explore different Tunisian Stitches in a relatively quick and functional pattern. It uses the Knit stitch, purl stitch and lace stitch to create this beautiful market bag.

The market bag measures 32cm wide and 40 cm long, excluding handles. It is constructed in two panels which are sewn together when completed. The handles are made as part of the bags panels. I used Lily Sugar n Cream in blue stripes, purple and white as they happened to be some colours left over from other projects. any worsted weight cotton should work for this project too.
