Tunisian Mod Baby Blanket
The modern lifestyle has a wonderfully simplistic yet visually appealing home decor. Every item has a story to tell, and the colors are no longer set by gender or season. This blanket tells the same story, and is wonderfully soft and supple.
This 10-page pattern assumes basic knowledge of Tunisian crochet. You will need to know how to Tss, Tks, and Tps. The Tunisian front chain stitch is described on the last page of the document.
The layout of this blanket is done entrelac style. By doing it as entrelac, there is no sewing involved.
For me, I like the process of the entrelac corner to corner technique, especially since the different sized additions create more uniqueness when working up. However, if it isn’t your preferred method, you can also start from the left corner and work the entrelac across each row. Both techniques will be shown in recommended assembly I and II, although the stitch patterns will only be done in the Recommended Assembly I form.
