This Phone Cozy is another one I made for trying out different techniques in Tunisian crochet.

Just like the others it is quick and easy to make although it is a bit more complicated than the other ones. Nevertheless it is great in case you want to try something new.

The pattern uses

  • extendedTunisian Simple Stitch
  • Tunisian Slip Stitch
  • Changing colours at the right edge
  • Decreasing a stitch on the right edge
  • Two contrasting colours

My sample is made for a iPhone 14 Pro but the size can be easily adapted to any mobile phone. Gauge is not crucial.

You also can use any other yarn you like. The pattern requires only a small amount of yarn and is perfect for using up yarn left over from other projects.

The pattern is written in English and uses US crochet terms.

You can find basic explanations of Tunisian crochet on my blog. Changing colours and decreasing a stitch are also explained there. An explanation on how to work the special stitches is included in the written pattern.
