This hat is a great project to go from “square tunisian” to “shaping in tunisian” using increases, decreases and joining peices together.
The hat is worked flat and seamed at the back.
The pattern in english is available in two formats: using US terms and AU-UK terms.

DIFFICULTY:
Easy/ Advanced beginner. You just need to have basic knowledge on how to make the Tunisian simple stitch (Tss) and be prepared to learn to make the rest.

SIZES:
Instructions are given in 4 sizes:
Extra small (XS): 15.5” (40cm) lenght or circumference.
Small (S): 17.5” (45cm).
Medium (M): 19.5” (50cm).
Large (L): 21.5” (55cm)

GAUGE
It is important to check for the gauge as the hat constructed in just a few rows and you´ll ned to have it to get the correct lenght and height proportions.

MATERIALS:
You´ll need:

• Bulky (12ply) yarn in the color (s) of your choice. 100g or less depending on size.
• A tunisian hook 6.5-7.0 mm
• A regular hook one number smaller than your tunisian one
• Yarn needle and scissors.

Este sombrero es un gran proyecto para pasar de “tunecino cuadrado” a “dar forma en tunecino” ya que utilizarás aumentos, disminuciones y unirás piezas.
El sombrero se realiza de manera plana y se une con una costura en la parte posterior.

DIFICULTAD:
Fácil / principiante avanzado. Sólo necesitas tener conocimientos básicos sobre cómo hacer el Punto tunecino simple (Pts) y estar preparad@ para aprender a hacer el resto.

TALLAS:
Se dan instrucciones en 4 tamaños:
Extra Pequeña (XP): 40 cm de longitud o circunferencia.
Pequeño (P): 45 cm
Mediano: (M): 50 cm
Grande (G): 55 cm

TAMAÑO DE MUESTRA
Es importante comprobar el tamaño de muestra ya que este gorro se realiza con pocas vueltas, así que necesitarás tener el tamaño de muestra para obtener la proporción de longitud y altura correctas.

MATERIALES:
Necesitarás:

• Estambre grueso (Bulky/12ply) del color o colores de tu elección. 100 g o menos dependiendo del tamaño.
• Un gancho tunecino de 6,5-7,0 mm.
• Un gancho de crochet normal de un número más pequeño que el tunecino.
• Aguja lanera y tijeras.
