This cardigan has a top-down construction in one piece (circular yoke), with the cables directly made into the front. The cardigan has negative ease (-6”), so it will fall open on the body. There is no waist shaping, making this cardigan a perfect unisex model.

The cables may look intimidating, but I have added a great tutorial and they give the cardigan a great texture - this is a staple for all!!!

The yoke and body are made using the 8mm Tunisian hook with cable, the sleeves are made in the round using the Tunisian double-ended hook. You can use a double-ended hook with a smaller size hook for the RetP. The sleeves will be easier to make (in the round) when you make them before starting the body. This will reduce the weight of the cardigan and makes turning it around easier.
