Tunisian Split Shawl
This shawl/poncho is a basic diamond shape split from the center down the front. Beginning at the center back, increases are worked using the TFS on both sides as the diamond grows. Once the diagonal length is achieved, the stitches are split and worked separately for the front right and left sides.
The fabric should be loose to create a nice drapey fabric. The beautiful Tunisian Arrow Stitch creates an elegant open lace design.
220gr of dk weight yarn
L/11 (8.00mm) with 20” cable
