This is a one skein project. It is simple, written out in detail, and suitable for beginners. It may not be exactly what some crocheters are used to, but you are still likely pick it up quickly. The pattern is very repetitive and uses only a few basic stitches.

You will need a long, flexible Tunisian hook, like the type that is used for afghans. A normal 6 inch, 15 centimeter long hook will not hold all of the stitches.

Gauge is not entirely important for this project. As long as your hook goes well with your yarn, your project should look fine.
