Tunisian Star Stitch Cowl
The Star stitch cowl is a cozy and warm cowl, whose relatively loose stitches still let the skin breathe. The starts, or flowers, do especially look great with a thicker single ply yarn and underline the beauty of these type of yarns.
Worked in tunisian crochet, it is crucial not to crochet to tight, to give the stars room and to emphasize their unique, slightly irregular structure.
The pattern is based on a 2-row repeat, but as you have to do some counting on the return passes, you’ll need a bit of concentration to stay in the pattern. Expect some unraveling here and there, but don’t be afraid, you’ll master this!
You’ll need one color and about 3-4 skeins (150-200gr) of Atelier Zitron Nimbus, or a similar single ply yarn like for instance Malabrigo Merino worsted.
The pdf contains both GERMAN AND ENGLISH instructions!
