This gorgeous headband is a great introduction to Tunisian crochet if you have never tried.

This headband is worked using Tunisian crochet, and so works in rows back and forth but can still be done with standard hooks. Detailed instructions with photos are given for each part that needs it are included (just in case you are not familiar with them or run into any issues), as well as finished photos to see how it should look in the end.

The headband can be easily resized depending on your own measurements needed and also depending on the size hook used. We used a 5mm for this project.
