This handout walks you through a sampler project that introduces you to a few of the many beautiful stitches available in Tunisian crochet. If you work through all the instructions in the handout, you’ll end up a lovely washcloth like these.

I used this handout to teach a Tunisian class at our local CGOA chapter and at my LYS, now I am offering it for free to anyone who would like to learn Tunisian. This handout has instructions on how to do six different stitch patterns - with phtographs and links to many excellent youtube videos to help you learn.

One washcloth requires approximately 1 ounce of 100% cotton worsted weight yarn, a size J10 (6.00 mm) Tunisian hook, and a size K10.5 (6.50 mm) Tunisian or regular hook.
