Turkish Delight
These socks are knitted flat in a long strip and seamed together. Though they look odd while being knitted, they fit wonderfully The design makes it easy to use a different yarn for the sole of the sock if desired. Bulky machines use a worsted weight yarn and adjust the stitch size to get 5 stitches and 7 rows/inch. Standard and mid-gauge machines use a yarn such as Lion Stripes that can achieve 8 stitches and 12 rows per inch. Ladies 5-14, men 3-12 in US shoe sizes.
