Turned Cable Cardigan is what I imagine wearing a cloud would be like - soft, cozy and oh so comfortable. The asymmetrical closing and wide cable border add special touches to an otherwise basic cardigan.

Using a bulky, yet lofty yarn gives the cardigan warmth without weight. Knitting Turned Cable Cardigan from the top down allows the cable border to extend organically from the left front to encircle the entire body in one piece. The border then continues as simple I-cord around the neckline & joined at the left front at the shoulder.

Sleeves are worked top down using short rows to shape the sleeve cap. And featuring only one, large button is a great opportunity to choose a really special one.

Finished Length: 23 1/2 (24, 24 1/2, 25, 25 1/2) inches
Notions: 1 ~ 1 1/2 inch button; cable needle, stitch holder; 1 inch square medium weight interfacing

Cable gauge: 22 st cable = 3 1/4 inches wide.
