DESCRIPTION:
This design celebrates the season of Turning: Nature loses her bright colors, crops are harvested to become food, and long, warm days become shorter and cooler. And, our wardrobes begin to favor soft hand knits like this seasonally inspired cowl and glove set. The reversible, double-layered cowl features colorwork on one side, and stripes on the other. It is knit as a long tube with a drawstring casing worked into the half-way point. The piece is finished by knitting the two ends of the tube together, and adding a tidy looking I-cord bind-off. The gloves feature a turned hem and colorwork cuff to match the cowl. Instructions are provided in text and colorwork charts
