Turquoise Hoop Earring
These unique earrings are based on a simple pair of store-bought hoops. The hoops are covered with gold-filled wire crocheted with tiny turquoise seed beads. The earrings can be worn on their own or matched up with the Five Fingers Necklace (pages 77-79).
Materials:
Dead-soft gold-filled wire, 28 gauge (.3mm), about 7yd (6.5m)
About 200 turquoise seed beads, size 11°
1 pair gold-filled round hoop earrings, 1 1/4” (3cm) diameter
Wire cutters
Pliers
Multipurpose glue
