♥ I’ve used Catania Solids sport weight cotton yarn but any other yarn of similar thickness will do the work. My advice - don’t hesitate to invest in a good quality yarn - in my opinion it’s half of success in any crochet or knit project.

♥ To work this pattern you need to know the slip stitch, chain, single crochet, half double crochet and double crochet.

Other materials:

• tapestry needle and regular, sewing needle
• 1 stitch marker - I use a regular paper clip
• about 12 inches ( 30 cm ) of black embroidery cotton
  for the eyes
• thin, green sewing thread
• Toho yellow beads 4 mm ( if you don’t have small kids )
• small amount of cotton hydrophile or polyester fiberfill
  stuffing for the head
