Knitted flat on 4.5mm straight knitting needles, there is no working in the round needed for this pattern, and it’s suitable for anyone who has mastered the basics (knit, purl, increasing and decreasing)

You can use any chunky yarn you like to knit these turtles (the pictured turtles use a combination of Rico Essentials Mega Wool Chunky in colours 029 Yellow and 018 Fuchsia and Stylecraft Special Chunky in colour 1065 Meadow which are gorgeous to knit with) You’ll also need some 6mm and 9mm black toy safety eyes (or you can embroider the eyes instead)
