This is a pattern for a turtle designed double knit potholder. The double knitting creates a double thick fabric which is good for protecting hands and counters.

Each side is worked stockinette stitch on both sides. It includes my own method for cast-off which creates a solid unified looking edge.

Yarn needed 55 yards for each color of Lily Sugar ‘N Cream, 4-ply cotton yarn
