Turtleneck and Chain
Skill level: Beginner/ Intermediate
Please note: This has not been tested on sizes 2XL-5XL. If you are interested in testing one of these sizes, please message me and I can send a free copy of the pattern and work through any issues throughout the test.
The Turtleneck and Chain is an oversized raglan sweater worked seamlessly from the top down. The neck stitches are cast on and worked back and forth to create shaping for the back. The front stitches are then cast on and the top is worked in the round, increasing every other row. The arm stitches are then held on scrap yarn or a stitch holder while the remaining body is worked. The body includes a cable on each side. The collar is then picked up and worked in the round. Last, the arm stitches are worked in the round, each including a cable down the side. This is a great sweater if you have never made a raglan style sweater or worked with cables before!
