Turtleneck Tee for classy summer outfits
The tee is knitted seamlessly from the bottom up (except for a short seam at underarm). The garment has a split hem (the hem in the back is slightly longer), raglan cap sleeves and a turtleneck collar. The sleeves are worked separately in the round and then joined to the body for raglan decreases. The collar stitches are picked up along the neckline edge and the collar is worked in the round. The hem and sleeves have a neat brim made with twisted rib.
Techniques
Long tail tubular cast on and tubular bind off methods are recommended. The German short row method is used for shaping the sleeves and neckline.
The pattern includes links to tutorials covering all the techniques needed or the technique is explained in detail in the pattern.
Sizes
The garment has six sizes. Recommended positive ease around bust area is 10 cm / 4 inches.
The bust circumferences for sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (XXL) for finished garment are 85 (95) 105 (115) 125 (135) cm / 33 1/2 (37 1/2) 41 (45 1/4) 49 1/4 (53 1/2) inches.
