Tussaaq Mittens are worked bottom up in stocking stitch with a wide border in rib pattern. Increases are made for the thumb, then the tumb stitches are placed on a holder. The hand is finished working decreses at the top. And finally the thumb is worked from the stitches on hold.

RECOMENDED NEEDLES
Double pointed needles: 5 mm

Stitch holder or a small amount of scrap yarn for thumb.

With the ”magic loop” technique you can work the project using only an 80 cm (or longer) circular needle.

TENSION
18 sts and 27 rows in stocking stitch using 5 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm (measured after woshing).

NB! The project is worked using 1 strand of each yarn held together.
