Tut's Toes
Are you ‘hooked on Egypt’ too? I think i should join a Zahi Hawass fan club, LOL
anyway… when Stranded Newsletter by Bonnie Franz was active, she did an issue on Egypt, and these were my design.
They’re in two sizes - child’s and adults and PS i have a gorgeous Adult sock i’ll put up soon called “Isis Waiting”
would be glad to chat and help you find good yarn choices!
The right Lapis blue is critical - the yellow/gold less so. I think i’d use Flag Blue in Crystal Palace Yarns Merino 5 or the blue in the new Plus Solids to coordinate with Mochi Plus, and the buttercup yellows from Panda Silk, doubled. Both Panda Silk and DK Panda Silk play very nicely - aka great colorwork!- with Mochi family.
