Tux and Top hat for Dress-up Doll
As wedding season is approaching, why not crochet an adorable tux, or suit, for your cute little dress-up doll to wear? Perfect for getting little boys excited about being in a wedding (the younger ones, of course), or something for the little girls to pretend play with! Make a green set, and you’ve also got an adorable little St. Patrick’s Day Leprechaun!
This pattern is written to make a little suit-jacket (with or without the coattails), a cute little top hat (with directions on making it as tall as you want, go ahead and make it white and red striped for a Dr. Seuss hat!), and some nice dress-slacks. The pattern for the doll itself is NOT included. If you have not already, you can purchase the doll pattern from my ravelry store (http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/pixie-elf-doll)
Any worsted weight yarn will work, I just prefer using Caron Simply Soft, I have also used Bernat Baby, Red Heart Super Saver, and other types of worsted weight yarn without any difficulty.
Pattern is very easy to read, with lots of pictures and instructions as well as directions of how to complete every stitch required (if you don’t already know them). Perfect for beginners!
