This is number 15 in my Bowie series of baby clothes. I named this one
TVC15, as, the pleat front reminds me of a car grill
This is a very simple garter stitch pattern with the addition of a
pleated front for added interest.
This is knit in one piece & knit flat. You will need to know how to do
German short row shaping for the pleats, but the pattern is very
simple.
One size 6-12 months. Knit in DK yarn. If you use cotton, can be worn in
summer, or, wool in winter with long sleeves & pants underneath.
I used Wendy supreme yarn in coral fade, approx 110g and 4mm
needles. You will also need one single double pointed needle slightly
smaller than 4mm. I used 3mm, as, I had one to hand. You also need 2
stitch markers
