These patterns look elaborate, but actually are simple and easy to knit.

9.5 sts and 11.5 rows = 1” (2.5 cm) in stockinette stitch on US size 0 (2 mm) needles

Needles
US size 0 (2.00 mm) and US size 1 (2.25 mm) circular needles, or adjust size to obtain the correct gauge

If you want to make it larger or longer, prepare more yarn.
