TWEED PARTY SOCKS
…………………………………………………………

Produced in collaboration with the Irish knitwear brand Inish Olann, this pattern will enable you to replicate their eponymous, commercially manufactured socks.

These iconic tweed colourblock socks have long been a staple in Irish knitwear
shops all over the world. They are cozy, squishy, tweedy, and fun, and people love
to receive them as gifts.

The socks you find in the shops are factory-made. But the simple design is easy to replicate by hand. And the manufacturer was happy for me to do exactly that - so that now you can choose whether to buy ready-made, or to knit them yourself.

Worked from the cuff down with short row heels and toes, the design combines 3 colours of tweed for a look that is vibrant and festive.

This pattern provides instructions for fingering weight, sportweight, and DK weight sock yarns.
