Tweed Table Runner
This is the 3rd project I have now done in this lovely ‘Westcountry Aran Tweed’. It is such a joy to work with and very versatile.

No matter what the season, this centrepiece for your table will add a splash of colour, warmth and decoration to any family occasion.

Kamila (at Blacker Yarns) and I chose this lovely fusion of colours, back in the spring, the main being a rich deep green with a splash of mixed tones, a cocktail of colour… perfect to showcase not just at Christmas but also suitable to dress your table for any occasion.

This Table Runner can be made to full size using 400g of yarn or it can be made smaller to suit the length of your own table.

As I have said in the pattern, always do your Tension Square and adjust as stated, if need be.
Yarn: For the best results, I have recommended the really beautiful Blacker Yarns ‘Westcountry Tweed - Aran’
Breed: Aran Tweed by Blacker Yarns (100% British Wool from the West Country)
Ball/Skein Length: 4 x Aran c.100g (c.155m. c.170yds) skeins in
Dyed: Green Lagoon
Finish (Woollen or Worsted): Woollen
Handle: Medium

Blacker Yarns Specialise in breed specific British Wool yarn all spun and processed in Cornwall and consist of 100% natural fibres.

The pattern could be knitted with other Aran wool, but do your test square first to ensure you are going to have enough yarn.
