Pattern 2 in the Alice Treasure Hunt Yarn Club.

Tweedledum and Tweedledee

The Jabberwock described this - well, actually he hissed and spat - he described this pattern as a decorative cowl created using two weight yarns and a simple repeating pattern. The Jabberwock is not a generous beast when it comes to descriptions.

’I, on the other hand. Think this is a lovely design which magically appears when the item is blocked,’ said Alice.

Size:
Gauge: Use a D.K. (double knit) yarn and a sock weight yarn too.
Yarn: 80g Chroma Yarns Metamorphosis Lambswool and about 25g of sock weight.
Needles: Size 5mm circulars.
Notions: Safety pins or stitch markers

You should be able to: knit, purl and slip stitches and nothing more!

This pattern is part of the Alice Treasure Hunt Series - a yarn club from Chroma Yarns. It will be generally available to non-club members from mid to late March 2013.

Alice Treasure Hunt

Entries for the Treasure Hunt competition will be accepted after the last pattern has been released. So don’t think it’s ever too late to join my yarn club or buy the patterns.
There will be six patterns and clues in total including the Tweedledum and Tweedledee Cowl, Queen of Hearts Shawl and Snicker-Snack Vorpal Blade Stole. The clues lead you to the location of the Alice Treasure Chest - the prize for the fearless knitter winner containing lots of Alice and Chroma Yarns goodies.
