The Tweedy Broken Rib Scarf is an ideal project for beginners, featuring just two simple rows repeated throughout while holding two yarns together (a chunky and a lace). Two skeins of Mode at Rowan’s Chunky wool was used with a half a skein of Make It Tweed. A total of approximately 478 yards needed.

This pattern is easy to customize—adjust the width or length to suit your style. Just be sure to cast on a multiple of 2 stitches. Keep in mind that increasing the size may require additional yarn.

If you’d like to transform it into a stylish infinity scarf, simply seam the ends together using a mattress stitch.

Happy Knitting.
