Tweedy Checkerboard
This is a man’s sweater with a small checked pattern of alternating lighter and darker squares in rich autumnal colours. All yarns are used double, sometimes the same colour and sometimes two different colours, giving the sweater a shaded effect. Twelve colours in all are used, ten of the tweedy yarn and two of the Kid Silk.
In Keito Dama, this pattern is shown on page 7 and is called Checkerboard Block Sweater.
